Custom ECU / ECM Tuning for Rochester Diesel Performance Mack Injector Upgrades
Have you installed new injectors to upgrade the power of your MACK E7 engine only to find the power gain disappointing for the cost and effort? This is not an uncommon complaint we hear but the good news is we have the solution! Increasing the nozzle size of the injector is a good thing when you are looking to increase power BUT it does not solve the root issue of the MACK low power drive ability. The main issue lies in the fuel scheduling that the factory utilizes. Like most every other diesel engine there are a few tables that calculate fuel scheduling. Primarily it uses BOOST PRESSURE, ENGINE RPM and CALCULATED LOAD. The way MACK set these up is that they rely on exhaust volume to spool the charger where most other manufacturers tend to use the thermal content of the exhaust gas to help spool the charger sooner and this method gives them more LOW END POWER, wider power band, better throttle response and all around better driving experience. This is the reason MACK truck seem to have such a narrow power band and can be corrected by custom ecu tuning! You will need to remove the ECU form the side of the engine and ship it in to our location for this tuning service. If you use standard next day air with UPS or FedEx we receive those by around 10:30am and can generally get them tuned and back out for shipping the SAME DAY!

Does your truck have the smaller stock charger that the 385hp and lower engines use and you're looking for an upgrade? Maybe your 427/460's charger is needing replacement? This is the perfect time to upgrade to a new performance billet charger! These Stage 1 turbo's are capable of up to 625hp with supporting mods! Contact tech support to discuss tuning and if an aftermarket larger injector nozzle will reach your HP goals. These stage 1 chargers work great with stock 427/460 injectors and can easily product 550hp without temp problem combined with just our ECM tuning! You will need some different couplers, clamps etc to adapt this charger to the stock air intake and connect it to the original intercooler so please keep in mind additional parts will be required during install. We worked with bully dog manufacturing to come up with a reasonably priced billet wheel turbo upgrade for the mack community, no more $2500 mystery turbos!
